Design of Petri Net-Based Cyber-Physical Systems Oriented on the Implementation in Field Programmable Gate Arrays

Two design flows of the Petri net-based cyber-physical systems oriented towards implementation in an FPGA are presented paper. The first method is based on behavioural description system. control part system specified by interpreted net, and described directly synthesisable Verilog hardware language for further programmable device. second technique involves splitting into sequential modules. In particular, adequate decomposition synchronisation algorithms proposed. resulting modules modelled within as composition automata. supported theoretical background, templates codes. proposed techniques illustrated a real-life example multi-robot system, where each step explained detail, including modelling, language, final results obtained during verification validation confirm proper functionality designed both flows.
